Itália 1944. Durante a II Guerra Mundial, una esquadra de caçadores de minas da FEB ( Força Expedicionária Brasileira) sofre um ataque de pânico. Desesperados, com frio e fome, os pracinhas têm de optar por enfrentar a Corte Marcial ou encarar novamente o inimigo. Os remanescentes do grupo rumam para outro ousado objetivo militar: desarmar o campo minado mais temido da Itália. No caminho, encontram: um Italiano arrependido que quer se tornar partiggiano e um oficial alemão cansado da guerra. Com ajuda do ex-inimigo, conseguem realizar uma missão considerada impossível.
Italy 1944. During World War II, a squadron of mine hunters of the FEB (Brazilian Expeditionary Force) suffered a panic attack. Desperate, cold and hungry, the squaddies had to choose between a court martial or having to fight the enemy again. The remnants of the group opted for another daring military objective: to defuse Italy’s most notorious minefield. On their way, they meet a repentant Italian soldier who wants to become a "partigiano” (partisan) and a German officer who’s tired of the war. With the help of these former enemy combatants, they succeed in pulling off what looks like an impossible mission. |
