Quando Hitler invade grande parte da Europa e estende a perseguição aos judeus nos territórios que ocupa, três milhões de refugiados rumam a sul. Nenhum judeu estava a salvo. Debaixo do Céu é um filme narrado sobre estas histórias de êxodo ilustrado com registos fílmicos da época.Oito olhares de crianças, que hoje têm perto dos oitenta anos, dão voz sobre a viagem que centenas de milhares de judeus fizeram para escapar à perseguição do regime nazi. Na altura, sob a ditadura de Salazar, Portugal acolheu uma grande população de judeus refugiados, causando um grande impacto social no país.
When Hitler invaded the major part of Europe and extends his pursue to the Jews in their territories, three million of them ran away to the south. No Jew was safe. Under The Sky is a narrated movie about these stories of exodus illustrated by filmic archive filmed during that time. Eight eighty year old individuals, children back then, give voice to the trip that millions of jews had to take in order to escape the nazi regime. Back then, under the dictatorship system, Portugal gave home to a huge population of jew refugees, causing a tremendous social impact in the country. |
