Estamos em 2007 no Canil Municipal do Porto, espaço designado para fazer a recolha de animais perigosos, abandonados ou errantes. Espaço onde os munícipes vêm vacinar os seus animais, fazer adoções e deixá-los quando estes começam a ser um peso.
Tentando conciliar as suas convicções com o regulamento dos serviços, funcionários e chefias dão a conhecer o que está para lá da má relação e do preconceito que sentem que a cidade tem para com eles.
Canil é um filme que mostra a vida da instituição municipal que tem como competência fazer cumprir as leis do estado.
We are in 2007, at the Oporto Municipal Kennel, the designated place to collect dangerous, abandoned or astray animals. This is the place where citizens come to have their animals vaccinated, make adoptions and leave them when they begin to be a burden.
Trying to reconcile their convictions with service regulations, employees and managers let us know what is beyond the bad relationship and the prejudice that they feel that the city has towards them.
"Kennel" is a film that shows the life of a municipal institution that is qualified to enforce the laws of the state. |
